Day 14: Thankful for a Lunch Date with Luke

Since Luke was leaving for deer camp today (for 6 days!!) we decided to meet for lunch before he headed out of town. This was the first time in the 8+ years since we've been working, that we met for lunch. I picked my favorite place, Poor Boy Roy's, even though Luke had never been there. He ended up loving it just as much as I do! It was a great way to reconnect in the middle of busy day-to-day life. We didn't have to worry about feeding kids or cleaning up spilled milk. It was fun and I was so thankful for the time with Luke before he left for camp. I'm hoping we can do it again in the future!
